Here I took a screenshot of the sketchup model and copied it into Photoshop. I then used the magic wand tool to select each segment and applied the paint brush over areas that have shadow and light.
After discovering that I couldn't import Sketchup models into 3D Studio Max, I decided to use Photoshop to create texture and shadow on my paper fold representation.
